Absinthe was banned in the United States until 2007 and is now slowly making a return. Glenrose Absinthe Verte was created in the style of a 19th century recipe from Pontarlier, France. The six botanicals used are grand wormwood, anise seed, fennel seed, small wormwood, hyssop and lemon balm. Glenrose Spirits, LLC is a New York State farm distillery conceived and built by the Sloboda family in North Rose, New York.
